Date Night and the Perfect Sunset

It's really a challenge to come up with a ♥♥Date Night♥♥ that doesn't involve eating out or going to or renting a movie, but we did it!!

Our evening started with a picnic in the park. We found a quiet place to relax and enjoy each other's company. The menu consisted of tortellini, garlic bread, caesar salad and old timey CocaColas. This was seriously a 10 minute throw it together meal. I didn't have time to cook a lot, so this was quick and easy.

Please notice my husband's wounded finger. Disgusting table saw accident that he won't go to the doctor for.

After we ate, we made our way around the park and came across two young fawns. The picture ended up blurry 'cause they just wouldn't stand still!

We headed off to Beutter Park, which is in downtown Mishawaka. They have done a lot of work here, and it's really become a beautiful place to walk around.

Where we were standing used to be the old Uniroyal Plant that they tore down about 10 years ago. Now it's a beautiful water race from the St. Joseph River.

I just had to add this picture of Daryn posing with the "Huge SilVerY metal art thingy" (the official term) in the park.

The weather was perfect and the Sunsetwas just amazing.

We did prove to ourselves that we could find something new to do, and we really had a wonderful evening together.
